Playing flawless softball, cutting down on walks and errors, and seeing the NCAA regional matchup against in-state rival Central Florida as just another game will determine how far the South Florida Bulls can go in the postseason, coach Ken Eriksen said.
For the first time since 2006, the Bulls will go to Gainesville to take on UCF in the first round of the NCAA regionals.

Two weeks before graduation, teammates dressed five out of the six University of Tampa women's soccer freshmen in bright, colorful clothes and covered them in make-up, fingernail polish and marker.
Pictures from the party in an off-campus apartment showed the five freshmen women in Halloween-style makeup with fingernail polish around their eyes.

The South Florida baseball team (26-24, 11-13) scored six runs in the top of the ninth inning and went on to get a vital 9-2 win Sunday against No. 21 St. John's (39-11, 18-6).
The win keeps the Bulls above .500 and ties them for seventh place with the Villanova Wildcats (27-23, 11-13) in the Big East.

Every season since joining the Big East conference in 2005, the South Florida softball team consistently inched its way closer to a conference championship.
In 2008, the Bulls earned their first regular season Big East championship and became the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
